At Pontarolo Engineering, we wanted to provide a concrete answer to this question\u2014one measurable in numbers and tangible results. In 2023, we achieved a significant milestone:\u00a065% of the energy consumed<\/strong>\u00a0in our EPS (expanded polystyrene) production plant for the construction sector now comes from renewable sources. An even higher result (68%<\/strong>) was reached at\u00a0Sintesyplast<\/strong>, a company within our group specializing in recycled plastic products for the construction industry.<\/p>\n

Choosing to invest in clean energy is not just about cost reduction or compliance with increasingly strict regulations. It\u2019s a\u00a0strategic vision<\/strong>\u00a0that combines industrial innovation and environmental responsibility. Our products\u2014from EPS to recycled plastic\u2014are in fact designed to actively contribute to\u00a0emission reduction<\/strong>\u00a0throughout their lifecycle. Consider, for example, our insulating panels, which drastically cut emissions from home heating and cooling.<\/p>\n
